In April, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that updates the Medicare Advantage Program, the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program (Part D), Medicare Cost Plan Program, the Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and Health Information Technology Standards and Implementation Specifications. The final rule focuses on several areas of importance to LTSS stakeholders, including dual-eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs), supplemental benefits, and behavioral health network adequacy.

LTQA held a member-only discussion of the implications of the Contract Year 2025 Medicare Advantage and Part D Final Rule (2025 MAPD Final Rule) on LTSS and those who fund, deliver, and use them.
