Please join LTQA and the Community Living Policy Center (CLPC) at Brandeis University for a member roundtable on February 13, 2025, from 2:00–3:15 PM ET.
As Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) play a vital role in enabling millions of Americans to live independently, the new Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services Final Rule, released by CMS in April 2024, introduces critical provisions to improve access and engagement. Among these, the establishment of Interested Party Advisory Groups (IPAGs) represents a significant step forward in fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, including direct care workers, beneficiaries, and state Medicaid officials. This innovative approach aims to ensure meaningful consultation on payment rates and other critical issues affecting HCBS services.
To support the effective implementation of the IPAG provision and explore its potential for broader engagement and expansion, LTQA, in partnership with CLPC, is hosting a member roundtable discussion.
Registration is required: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/gG9CucBNSxmYUqV6v8gecA
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom containing information about joining the meeting.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss best practices, data sources, and innovative approaches to maximize the impact of IPAGs. Additionally, the roundtable will explore how the scope of these advisory groups can be expanded to promote broader, more consistent stakeholder engagement.
