On February 16th, the Senate HELP committee held a hearing on healthcare workforce shortages. The committee leaders subsequently released a request for information on healthcare workforce shortage drivers and potential solutions. LTQA commends the committee’s commitment to identifying bipartisan solutions to remedy our nation’s health care workforce shortages. Our response calls attention to the omission of the direct care workforce from this discussion.
