On September 9, LTQA held a member-only roundtable discussion, “Empowering an Aging Nation: Strategic Framework for a National Plan on Aging,” with guest speakers from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and West Health to shape our comments on the Strategic Framework. LTQA submitted comments on September 15. Our recommendations emphasized the need for stronger coordination across healthcare, housing, and supportive services, innovative long-term services and supports (LTSS) financing models, and increased focus on economic security and preventive care for older adults. We advocate for a comprehensive, person-centered approach that ensures older adults can age with dignity, supported by effective policies and programs at both the state and federal levels. Read our comments here:
