LTQA hosted a Community Coffee Hour on equitable vaccine distribution for older adults and homebound individuals on March 25th from 3-4 pm ET, featuring speakers from Justice in Aging and Commonwealth Care Alliance.

While vaccinating older adults against COVID-19 has been prioritized, many older adults in communities that have been hard-hit by the virus and homebound individuals experience barriers to accessing the vaccine. Justice in Aging provided an overview of key principles to center equity in vaccine distribution and Commonwealth Care Alliance discussed their program to vaccinate homebound individuals.
