On Tuesday, March 7, AcademyHealth’s Long-Term Services and Supports Interest Group with support from the Long-Term Quality Alliance hosted a free webinar on caregiving policy in the U.S.
The recently released National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) report “Families Caring for an Aging America” highlights important policy recommendations for caregiving in the U.S. This webinar, “Putting Family Caregiving Policy Recommendations into Practice,” reviewed key innovations in caregiving that are occurring across employers, state governments and healthcare systems. Lynn Feinberg, senior strategic policy advisor at the AARP Public Policy Institute, summarized features, barriers, and next steps in context of a new administration.
