On Friday, September 10th, LTQA hosted a webinar on international experiences with designing universal long-term services and supports (LTSS) programs and their implications on designing such programs in the US. Ben Veghte shared an overview of LTSS programs abroad and lessons from the German LTSS program as described in his recent National Academy of Social Insurance report, Designing Universal Long-Term Services and Supports Programs: Lessons from Germany and Other Countries. This was followed by remarks from Bruce Chernof and Eileen J. Tell, and a discussion of audience questions.
